Why do certain relationships feel too intense, precisely timed, or difficult to release? They may enter your life to reveal a wound, repeat a lesson, or awaken a part of you that has been waiting to be seen.
In this episode, Olga Karpman explores soul contracts and their connection to activators, soulmates, twin flames, and family relationships which was uncovered in the last episode: https://olgakarpman.com/010. You’ll learn how to recognize what a connection came to teach you—and when its purpose may already be complete.
Completing a soul contract does not always mean ending the relationship. It can mean releasing the guilt, sacrifice, and emotional entanglement that keep you from moving forward as your own whole person.

Olga Karpman: Before you were born, your soul signed things you don't remember signing: agreements, terms, people you agreed to meet, and exactly when. Last Monday, we asked what actually happens when masculine and feminine energy finally meet inside you, and now I promised you we would go there, even deeper into what your soul contract actually means and what the divine plan is for the entire journey of these energies.
Olga Karpman: Today, we're doing just that. So stay with me all the way to the very end because I'm going to show you how to actually complete a contract your soul signed before you even got there. Are you ready to go even deeper? Let's do it. Welcome to Unmasked. I'm Olga Karpman. This is the show about what lies beneath.
Olga Karpman: Welcome back, my soul friend. This is Olga Karpman, and this is Unmasked podcast. Before we dive into today's episode, I have one small request. If you haven't already, please hit that subscribe button right now because every subscription reminds us that a real person is building this community alongside us, and it's the reason why we keep going, and it's the reason why we can keep delivering the people and the tools for your journey in this audio series.
Olga Karpman: As you know, we are in this together, so thank you so much for contributing to this collective energy. I read every comment, I see every subscribe, and I'm so grateful our community is growing each and every day. One more thing before we get started, I'd love to know where you're tuning in from. I'm actually recording this episode right now from London.
Olga Karpman: I'm visiting my friend here, and then I'm flying to Copenhagen, and tomorrow I'll be visiting Stonehenge, which feels almost too fitting for this episode, uh, about the soul contracts, a place built by people whose names we'll never know for a purpose we're still piecing together. So we're gonna be there in person finding out what this site is all about and what the energy actually feels there.
Olga Karpman: So I'm wondering, have you ever been there at Stonehenge or in London in general? It's one of my favorite places to visit, so I will definitely be sharing more how that trip went with you. So make sure you stay with us and listen to future podcast episodes. And, uh, please drop in a comment and tell me where in the world maybe you're listening from today.
Olga Karpman: I promise I will read every single comment, and I'd love to get to know you better. It is interesting actually how places call us, and I do feel my soul has a lot to do with UK, but we'll find out more on this trip, I am assuming, so let's see. Um, today's topic is about soul contracts, and I believe that if you're listening to this podcast, you actually know exactly what I will be talking about because today we're talking about something that explains almost everything we've covered so far.
Olga Karpman: If you listen to our previous episodes, you know that I uncovered the great unknown, the activator, the masculine, the feminine switching at the root. None of those people, none of those moments happen by accident, and I hope you know this by now. They were written into an agreement your soul made before you even arrived here.
Olga Karpman: Maybe you felt it, that eerie sense that some meetings in your life were too precise to be random. Maybe you noticed some strange coincidences and the timing was too exact, or maybe the wound they touched was too specific and the lesson arrived at exactly the moment you were finally ready to survive it, not a day before, not a day after, just in that exact moment.
Olga Karpman: So maybe you've asked yourself why this particular person, this particular heartbreak, this particular love? Why you? Why them? Why now? That's exactly what we're gonna be talking about today. Some of what we uncover in today lives in the same territory as the shadow queen and king we met last time, the part of you that agreed long before you got here to carry something heavy so someone else could learn something they needed to learn.
Olga Karpman: That's the mask that we're meeting here on this podcast, and the contract is what's underneath the mask, the actual terms, the reason you agreed to carry it in the first place. And here's the piece that makes this urgent, not just interesting. If a lesson is not complete, it doesn't just disappear. It repeats, maybe in this lifetime in a different costume with a different name attached to it, maybe in another lifetime entirely.
Olga Karpman: The mask can change, the appearance can change, but the unfinished lesson underneath it doesn't change, not until you actually learn it, accept it, and let it go. Let me share something very personal with you, how destiny and soul contracts have played out in my personal life more than once. I see them all the time.
Olga Karpman: Now I can recognize it. I can spot the lesson way faster than before. If before it took me years and years and years, and thank God it's only years, not lifetimes, now it can go through cycles where from the months it goes to hours and sometimes even instantaneously. So the story starts when I was 23 years old when I got on a flight from LAX to London.
Olga Karpman: Ta-da, such a coincidence again, right, that I'm recording this story and this episode from London. So I sat down in my seat with no idea that I was sitting next to my future husband. No sign, no lightning bolt, not even chemistry, nothing. It was just a regular, normal moment. No cinematic moments that you see on TV like in the movies- How they locked their eyes and didn't let go till last breath they took together, right?
Olga Karpman: No. Just two strangers on a long flight talking the way you talk to when you don't expect anything and you don't know the person, just casual conversation. Um, not even much interest at all, to be honest with you, and my husband know this because I was in my head with my other relationship, and the last thing I wanted on this flight is to meet another guy.
Olga Karpman: Spoiler alert, because of the previous soul contracts and filters that I personally had, but this is a story for another time. But destiny and contracts play their own role the way they're supposed to, and next year it will be 15 years of our marriage. 15 years from one flight, one seat assignment, one conversation, and luckily, an email address that my husband Alex asked for just in case.
Olga Karpman: He was very respectful. He knew that I was in relationship. He didn't know what kind of relationship, but I said I was in a relationship. So politely, he just asked for email address, uh, not even a phone number, and that was pre-Facebook, pre-Instagram, or any social media. I didn't plan to meet with him. I didn't plan anything, and I couldn't have even engineered it if I tried because both of us were not even supposed to be on that flight to begin with.
Olga Karpman: But because I had a huge fight with my then ex-boyfriend and was heartbroken, I spontaneously decided to go visit my family, and I happened to have a visa to London that I accidentally, yeah, accidentally got while nervously waiting for American visa back then, like two years prior to that. So I got on the flight and I thought, "Well, it would be bad to waste a good visa, three-year visa.
Olga Karpman: I'll just fly through London to visit my family all the way in Siberia." And I got on that flight, and the rest is history. That's how we met But that's the soul contract. Hopefully we're still obviously going through this. We're still together, and that's one with hopefully happy ending. But then there are other ones that I went through and other contracts in my life that looked nothing like that one, a one that hurt before it made any sense.
Olga Karpman: For example, with my daughter Eva, her father made the decision not to participate in our lives, and he made it as soon as he found out I was pregnant with her. And at that time, it broke me completely. I was devastated. It was such a tragedy in my eyes and confusion and emptiness for the first few months, and it felt like proof of something I didn't want to be true about myself and- At the same time, it got me into the depth of myself and understanding life completely different.
Olga Karpman: So I started searching for answers I didn't have from him, and that soul contract was never written for him to stay. Now I understand that. It was written for exactly what it did. It changed the entire direction of both of our lives and brought into this world beautiful, powerful soul, Eva, who actually also host of the Dream Big podcast, and she is magnificent, she's powerful, she's a unbelievable soul.
Olga Karpman: And you can tell that definitely that soul chose us to come through this particular way, and we both had to meet and fall in love and be together, uh, even for the short period of time, even though it was painful, even if I was hurt, and I'm sure he was as well, and he was searching for his answers as well, but it just played out how it played out.
Olga Karpman: So that soul contract opened an immense source of knowledge for me personally to understand ourselves more deeply and for the very first time to feel that unconditional love that a lot of parents, especially mothers, feel. And of course, it shaped the mother and the woman I became on my own terms, and it set into motion everything that came after, including my own journey into spirituality and legacy that I'm leaving behind.
Olga Karpman: So as you can see, two soul contracts, one looked like arrival and one looked like abandonment, but both were exactly on time, exactly how they're supposed to play in my life, and exactly at that precise time. All this to invite you, my friend, to maybe scan your own life right now, not analytically, but just to observe, and maybe notice for yourself, first of all, who comes to mind right away when I tell you these stories or when I mention a soul contract, um, when especially I say the word unfinished soul contract Whose name arrives uninvited?
Olga Karpman: Just check with yourself. Keep them there, we're gonna get back to it, and we're gonna be talking about what underneath it and how to end the contract if you feel you are done with it. You see, we all come into this life for certain lessons. You already know this. And every soul has its own trajectory. And yes, there are countless choices, of course, along the way, and we all can choose different paths, and we can always, uh, choose different routes, left, right, higher, lower, just depending how you see it.
Olga Karpman: But in my vision, I constantly see the choice and then different routes from it. At this point, I already can see what will happen depending on the choice that I will make, so kind of can see the timeline of it. Uh, you can start noticing it as well, and it comes as a just a little, um, light feeling of it.
Olga Karpman: So it's not like this is exactly what's gonna happen, but it's just like that quiet knowing. It's never loud, right? But underneath all of that is free will, of course. There are also soul contracts, agreements that meant to come to pass during a specific window of time with specific people for a specific connection, and there are soul contracts that are just passing through, and if they don't trigger you anymore, they are not here to stay.
Olga Karpman: And here's something I don't think enough people understand yet. Your timeline isn't a straight line. It's a spiral, and we will go into timelines and how the time actually is in the divine order, not just the way we learned about it, right, the very linear. It's a spiral, and if you feel the pull of a lesson, but you keep acting against it and refusing to learn, you don't just stay still.
Olga Karpman: The spiral moves you anyway, either up closer to where your soul is trying to take you or down further away from it. You're always moving on that spiral one direction or the other, whether you're aware of it or not Soul contracts are part of what moves you. You have to remember this. Sometimes you meet someone and you feel pulled to them like a magnet.
Olga Karpman: Have you met people like this? And you just cannot even explain why. That's usually a contract, and there is a lesson the two of you are here to move through together. So sometimes the roles even flip from lifetime to lifetime. Maybe in a past life you were a daughter and she was the mother, and in this life the roles reverse.
Olga Karpman: You're the mother now, and she's the daughter. And maybe the relationship is tense. Maybe it barely works at all. Very often that's the sign of a contract whose purpose is to finally learn to coexist, to practice unconditional love, forgiveness, and letting go, even with an old abandonment wound sitting right underneath it.
Olga Karpman: And sometimes the contract between two souls isn't to be a couple at all. Sometimes two people who love each other deeply simply cannot be together in this life, and the contract might be exactly that: not a partnership, but a different kind of relationship, maybe even carried out across distance, so both souls can reach a certain depth of connection without even needing the physical form of a couple to get there.
Olga Karpman: This is where so many people confuse the language. Sometimes we call these people twin flames, soulmates, or activators. I've talked before about activators, and I do believe there are activators, the people who show up to wake something in you Kind of to wake you up if you've been asleep or just kind of the energy got very stale and dormant.
Olga Karpman: Here is the piece I hadn't told you yet. Activators show up because of your soul contracts. They're not random. They're not coincidence. They are agreements. Now, to move through these lessons without needing years and years of therapy just to survive them, there are a few things I invite you to actually do.
Olga Karpman: First, make the decision consciously that you're here to learn this lesson in this lifetime, not any other lifetimes, this lifetime. And then listen to your soul very deeply and trust that voice because most of the times, number one, we don't believe that things are instantaneous, right? And they just take our decision to end something And number two, often we don't think it's just that easy.
Olga Karpman: We think it might take lifetimes and lifetimes. That's exactly why I gave you the observe meditation back in episode 3. For that, you can go to olgakarpman.com/003. If you haven't done that practice yet, please do it now. And by the way, uh, it's just not a coincidence right now that as at the time I'm recording about the soul contracts and about this and about not believing in sort of, kind of like external noise, uh, my friend's son just came home from daycare, and he's making a lot of noise.
Olga Karpman: So it just gives me confirmation that, hey, we're in the right track. And, um, this important knowledge has to be given to you right now no matter what. And even if you hear some noise around, just bear with me. Um, a lot of times I do notice when I'm recording this podcast, external forces constantly trying to stop me, but I just gonna keep going no matter what, and not gonna let circumstances to dictate what I'm about to give you.
Olga Karpman: Okay? So, uh, in my last episode, 010, I gave you the cord-cutting practice specifically so you can keep refreshing your connection with your activators instead of letting it calcify into something old and stuck. Please remember to practice that and remember to do it on a daily basis. So one more very important thing on this.
Olga Karpman: Um, this is the part that I really need you to hear because you have to learn to separate yourself from other soul. These souls came into your life to activate you and to help you learn- But if you start merging your identity with theirs, taking on their karma as if it was yours, playing the victim, you will not move through your own lesson fast enough.
Olga Karpman: You'll be too busy carrying someone else's. This matters most with the people closest to you. For example, family, the ones you love the most, right? Parents or children. Sometimes a parent gets sick, and I've seen it so many times in life, um, like really sick, and the contract of the daughter's soul or son's soul in a moment like this is to be sovereign, to help, yes, fully with an open heart, but not to become enmeshed, not to become a victim of the illness alongside them, not to feel guilty for their illness.
Olga Karpman: Remember, each soul has its own choice. And not to constantly entangle her own life or his own life with their suffering, and never, never to wish her or his own life away in exchange for theirs. I've seen this happen so many times in desperation, a parent in the grip of fear for a child quietly offering absolutely anything, even their own soul, if it means the suffering stops.
Olga Karpman: I don't judge that impulse for a second because that's our natural instinct for people who we love, and it's love, and it's real, and it's sacred. But you have to be careful which door you're actually knocking on when you make an offering like this. If you're not consciously connecting to God or whoever you believe in, in higher pure source, you may be making a contract with something else entirely, some other force, some other current, and it's not always light.
Olga Karpman: And that kind of contracts pull you down, tears you apart, and creates the energy that it is around you Your soul feels it. It aches under weight that was never supposed to be yours to carry, and you probably have people around you that you can say they did that for the spouse, for the child, for their loved ones.
Olga Karpman: They put on all the weight of everything the other soul's supposed to carry, and now they're suffering. Here is the part that will actually set you free though. Please listen with your soul, not your ears, because contracts are voluntary always. A soul has free will not only to make a contract but to dissolve one at any given moment, in any second forever if that's what you choose.
Olga Karpman: For that, you simply have to repeat after me with your soul, with your heart, with your total determination to end the contract. You may say something like this, exactly like this or something like this: I acknowledge that I consciously or subconsciously on a physical, soul, or spirit level made this contract.
Olga Karpman: Yes, it happened. I allow this fact to be. In this instant, consciously and in the presence of God and the divine power of truth and protection, I choose to end this contract once and for all. Thank you for serving its purpose and for teaching my soul valuable lessons. I let it integrate now, and with my own conscious decision and my soul's free choice, I finish it now.
Olga Karpman: I let it go. This contract is complete. From this moment forward, this soul or event exists on its own path, and I exist on mine, and so it is. Amen. Repeat this once, a few times for different contracts. Keep it in your mind, repeat it, say it with determination and awareness that this is done. And you may ask, Olga, but how do I actually know if a contract is complete instead of just guessing or hoping it's complete?
Olga Karpman: And here's a test for you. Very simple, but requires your full awareness. Let it sink in today. You just heard this information maybe for the very first time. Let it integrate, and tomorrow bring that person or those relationship, the pattern maybe to your mind, and notice what rises in your body. Not what you think you should feel, what actually arises.
Olga Karpman: If the lesson is truly complete, if you genuinely learned it and integrated it, you'll feel no charge in it at all. No negative charge, no positive charge. It's neutral, quiet, done, complete. Maybe it will take some time. Maybe- It will take a week, two, a year, a month, I'm not sure, but you'll see the difference.
Olga Karpman: If you still feel triggered, if you're still bothered by this person or circumstance or event or whatever you have in your mind, you still have opinions about it, still refreshing what you, you should say, what they said, it's not done yet. That's not a failure, it's just information. Even if you're saying, "Oh, I don't care anymore.
Olga Karpman: I'm not, I'm..." You can say whatever you want, but you know exactly how you feel about it. Be honest with yourself. That's very, very important. It just means the contract is still open, and you can let time pass and then say these words again, and repeat them as many times as you want until you feel it's done, done.
Olga Karpman: Because I have a feeling that once you say it once, something will come up that might be hiding deeper under it, and you'll say this end of the contract code, um, for the new thing that came to your mind, and then you just go layer after layer, deeper and deeper into this until it's completely done.
Olga Karpman: Because by now, if it's deep wound or deep memory, it might be just very tangled with other things, and you will start uncovering them. So it's always a progress. Just believe and know it's a progress. It just, um, has other stuff that has to go. And the reason why we have to do this right now at this moment in time, because the shift we're all moving through in this collective moment is moving us away from old model of sacrifice, the guilt, the belief that love means disappearing into someone else's need.
Olga Karpman: It's moving us towards something more individual, not individualism in the selfish sense, and it's not narcissism. It just means the kind of individual where you know I am my sovereign soul, and I know why I came here, and I will do the work to become whole and complete on my own before I start projecting everything onto others.
Olga Karpman: I don't need another soul to fill me in or complete me. We can merge as complete and whole partners, but not as halves of each other. And we talked about exactly this in the last episode. So if you haven't listened to episode 10, please go to olgakarpman.com/010, and you'll find it there This topic of soul contracts also corresponds to Divine Architect mask, and I gave you explanation and additional questions in our guide, which you can find at olgakarpman.com/7masks, and, uh, you can find links below this, um, audio or video, depending on the platform where you are listening us at.
Olga Karpman: Divine Architect is the mask on the cover of this episode of the podcast, so you'll recognize it there. And everything we've uncovered in this episode lives inside of that mask. Divine order underneath what looks like chance, the architecture behind every contract your soul ever signed before you got here.
Olga Karpman: So please download it now. It's completely free as our gift to you, and, uh, hopefully it will guide you and will, mm, give you questions that you can answer on your own, and this way you can also meet first seven masks, uh, and understand the Unmasked method a little deeper. And if you're completely new to our podcast, I welcome you to our ecosystem, and you will start getting to know us and getting to know the mask better through the guide And of course, remember to come back here every Monday.
Olga Karpman: Each week we take one thing that may be surfacing in your life right now on this journey, and we'll look underneath it together, and I'll be unpacking it slowly but surely, episode by episode, finding the right words for it. Sometimes you'll hear it's hard for me because they just come as, uh, knowledge.
Olga Karpman: Sometimes it's just visions, and it's hard to put into words, into the order and the system that, uh, we can all comprehend and kind of digest, uh, slowly but surely. And of course, if something resonates deeply with you but you don't know fully, uh, yet what that means, please don't hesitate to ask me in the comments.
Olga Karpman: Uh, there are no uncomfortable questions, I promise, and no shameful topics. We're all going through this journey together, just on our own pace and maybe with a little bit different circumstances, but it's a collective thing, so we're going through this shift together. And sometimes there's just no place or community where you can ask these questions, so hopefully we can become that place.
Olga Karpman: And I'm also hoping that at some point I will start sharing your stories or maybe inviting, um, the members of our tribe, uh, on our podcast and sharing their stories so we can hear and understand that we're not alone. As my best friend Alex always says, we're not alone, and we're in this together, and we're not crazy.
Olga Karpman: So for that, please go to olgakarpman.com/story. Leave me your story. You'll see the section where, um, you can mark if you'd like me to share your name publicly or not. So it can stay completely private if you wish. That's all for today, my beautiful soul friend. I'm Olga Karpman, and this is Unmasked, and I hope this topic resonated with you today, uh, because it is my honor to deliver this to you in this form at this time.
Olga Karpman: I don't take credit for this knowledge. It's not mine. It's coming through me, and I am so, so happy that we got to connect, um, on this audio podcast. So stay curious about what lies beneath in the great unknown, and I'll do my best to share, uh, what else may be coming for you. I'll see you in the next episode.
Olga Karpman: Please leave me comment, make sure to subscribe, and talk to you soon. Bye.
